“What are some common side effects kids can get from anesthesia?”

My daughter needs to have an appendectomy next week, and is going to be under general anesthesia. I discussed the details with her surgeon and anesthesiologist--risks and complications, and all that--but we didn't discuss any side effects from the anesthesia itself after her surgery. Are side effects possible? What are the most common ones?
