Orthopaedic Surgeon Questions Tendonitis

What can I do about tendinitis?

I was diagnosed with tendinitis about a month ago, and my hand is hurting really badly. Is there anything I can do for it to help it heal?

Usually using anti-inflammatory medications are helpful such as Advil. Warm socks help and stretching is helpful also. Also avoid activities that increase your pain.
Rest from activities or movements that hurt, take an anti-inflammatory (like Aleve or Ibuprofen), wear a brace that prevents the movements that hurt. In the vast majority of cases, these steps will solve the issue. If not, see an orthopedic surgeon specializing in surgery and disorders of the hand.
Ice, nsaids, activity modification, physical therapy exercises, bracing, cortisone injection as a last resort
