What can my son do about poor posture?

My son is 14 and has poor posture. His doctor recommended physical therapy. Is there anything else that he can do about it?

Sometimes there is an underlying cause for poor posture. We analyze posture and remove stress from the spine to help balance the body and therefore helping to increase posture. We also have spinal hygiene and stretches that we can show your son to help improve his posture.
Make sure he does not have scoliosis. If just poor posture exercises and physical therapy can help. A soft back brace can also help him sit up straighter.
Make sure he has enough calcium in his diet
Chiropractors main focus is on the health of your nervous system and spine. Receiving chiropractic adjustments can greatly improve your child's posture. We also teach you spinal hygiene stretches to help with postural changes.
