My 6 year old son's eyes are red lately. What could be the cause of my son's red eyes?

Depends on the diagnosis. A complete ophthalmologic exam should be performed.
Dust, pollen and allergens are generally the most common causes. However, make sure no trauma to the eye or injury. He is not straining his eyes by consistency being on a tablet or computer. Routine Pediatric vision checks are also important
Eye allergies and infection are possibilities. See a doctor for review
Usually red eyes are caused by contact with allergens or eye irritants. Make sure he is not rubbing his eyes. OTC vision allergy eyes may be helpful
