What do you do when your denture falls out?

Place the implants and do not remove denture. Way more comfortable for the patients.
If the dentures were put in the same day as when the teeth were removed, you most likely need a reline. If you have had the same set 5 years or more, then the bone has probably resorbed and that's why it falls out. Most likely a reline will help fill in the space between the denture and the shrunken bone. If you have had a reline, it may be that you just do not have enough bone remaining to properly hold the dentures in. Sometimes denture adhesive can help. The best solution is to get some dental implants that will hold the dentures in place. They can be designed to "snap" into place, or they can be made to "stay" in place and can only be removed by the dentist. No matter what it is best to be evaluated by a dentist who is familiar with dentures and with implant supported dentures in particular to advise you about how many implants you need or if a reline will suffice.
Depending on the reason that your denture fell out, we can best determine what treatment you need to secure it and make it tight again. There are a number of options.
You can use various adhesive products that are designed for dentures such as fixodent, poligrip, secure, sea bond, cushion grip, equate and olivafix. They are over the counter products. You can also see your dentist for a Reline of your denture. Hope this helps.
Hi,

You have to see your dentist because every 2-3 years, he has to do relining of your denture.
You may be due for a denture reline depending on the state of the denture and possible a new denture. I would try a “little” denture adhesive and see how it feels.
It all depends how old your dentures are. Visit your dentist you might need a new set or a new reline. There is an option to have a few implants placed to lock your denture in securely.
For the short term, you can use dental adhesives to help them stay in. I would recommend that you go to a dentist as your current denture may need to be relined or you may need to have a new one made depending upon the age of the denture. Over time, bone loss continues so that changes the fit of the denture. Your dentist can evaluate that and along with you, determine the best option.
I hope that helps!

See your dentist, the denture may need to be relined or possibly you need a new denture. Denture adhesive can help retain your denture until it is evaluated by a dentist.
