Doctor Questions Spider Bites

What does swollen lymph nodes and a headache mean?

About 2 weeks ago, my lymph nodes started swelling around my collarbone. Also, under my arms and the front and back of my knees. They don't hurt just feel inflamed. I don't have a fever. I have had headaches and fatigue though. I took antibiotics that my mom had, but it doesn't seem to be working. I was bit by a spider 3 times about a month ago, but I'm not sure if that's related.

The question you ask is quite broad but it is also a condition that can be quite serious. It is quite possible that the lymphadenopathy and headaches are related. The differential diagnosis for generalized lymphadenopathy is quite long and can be anything from inflammation to various types of malignancies. I would strongly suggest that you see your family physician and have this evaluated as soon as possible..
You should get tested for other types of insect mediated infection and blood testing to see if your lymph node swelling has to do with the lymph nodes or some other medical condition affecting your lymph nodes.
Best to be evaluated for lymphoma
