Dentist Questions Dental Bridges

What is a dental bridge?

I'm a 35 year old man and my dentist suggested we replace some of the gaps in my teeth with a dental bridge. What are the benefits of dental bridges, and what exactly are they like?

Implants are much better, if you have bone, highly recommend to educate yourself before you consider a bridge. I would never do a bridge for myself.

Thank you.
Dental bridge is done to replace teeth and if the other teeth do not have restorations then implants are a better option we need x-rays and scan to make the decision your dentist should be able to explain it to u with the models thanks
When a tooth is missing, we recommend an implant, bridge, or partial. The implant looks and acts like a natural tooth. The bridge goes from the tooth in front to the tooth behind the space. This would be reasonable if an implant is contra- indicated, but it does remove natural tooth structure...and can be difficult to keep clean. A partial is a good option, especially if multiple teeth are missing. It is removable and needs to be left out 6+ hours per day. Most people leave them out overnight.

Hopefully this helps!
