None that I can think of if there is adequate healthy bone for placement. Implants are titanium which is biocompatible with human tissues.
If you do not have enough bone that is an big issue. Also the load placed on the implants themselves.
it is important to evaluate and plan properly. You MUST have enough bone to support the implant. You MUST have enough space to replace the missing tooth, and the opposing teeth tend to over erupt if you waited to replace a missing one. Go to a qualified Dentist !! He will answer all other questions.
Your gums and periodontal tissue has to be healthy.
Dental implants have become a great option to replace teeth in many patients. Keep in mind though that even implants can fail especially if done by inexperienced practitioners and /or with cheaper implants. This would not be the place to cut corners or price shop.
There are no downsides except the cost. They are 99% effective.
Front teeth implants have pros and cons depending on the lip line, amount of bone, position of the implant, the amount of gum, there could be cosmetic dentistry problems, and how the final result reflects. It is best to have full mouth evaluated, so a knowledgeable dentist can discuss pros and cons. Read more here:

There is no downside to what you are proposing. Get it done.
Dental implants are a good service. The most important job you have is to take care of them.
With your own teeth, do you floss, brush, clean your tongue? Just as you will get gum disease if you don't do home care, your implants will get gum disease. Not taking care of your teeth, your body can handle this for a while, but your body is fighting all kinds of attacks. Gum disease can
happen at any time. Yes there are people who don't take care of their teeth. and all that is happening is their gums only are inflamed. There is no bone loss. If your body's immune system weakens. your bone can be INFECTED and you will start loosing bone. Flossing and brushing your implants and natural teeth is your way of controlling gum disease.
