Hello Madam,

I am unable to answer that question as I am a licensed Psychologist and not a Psychiatrist. Please ask your insurance company or your PCP for a referral in your area for medicine advice. I can refer you to a book called "Anxiety and Phobia workbook" by Edmund J. Bourne.
Take care and remain safe.

There are a number of good treatment options for people suffering from anxiety and panic attacks. Talk therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy are both worth looking into. For medications, depending on what other medications you might be taking and your overall health, I would suggest one of the SSRI’s (Prozac, Zoloft) as a good starting place. Both are good medications, well tolerated, with minimal (if any) side effects.
There are a number of good medicines for anxiety and panic attacks, mainly the so-called SSRIs (selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors). However, medication should be combined with a type of therapy called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is most commonly used for anxiety disorders and panic attacks. This type of therapy allows one to focus on their perception of events, rather than the events themselves.
