Sign him up for Applied Behavioral therapy (ABA), there are a lot of advantages to it and get some Respite support for you and your family. Hope that helps.
Talking to your pediatrician
I strongly recommend finding and working with a doctor who uses a Biomedical Approach, ideally trained through MAPS (Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs) as well as contacting TACA (Talk about Curing Autism)
I understand this is a very sensitive diagnosis for a family to cope with. In addition to acceptance make sure you provide your soon with all the support he might need. Talk to your pediatrician about ABA, Speech and Language evaluations (if there are behavioral and/or speech concerns.
Was he evaluated by an outside medial clinic? Or in the schools? Based on who did they evaluation and diagnosed him, they should be giving you recommendations for services.
Talk to his psychiatrist and neurologist as well as his therapist. Try to get him into behavioral analysis therapy to help him with his behaviors.
