It depends on the type of fungus growing which is the cause of your condition. please seek consult with local podiatrist.
Most of the over the counter stuff works great but minimum daily for 3+ months. Not quick
Athletes foot occurs as a result of a fungal infection. An antifungal cream should address this. Prevention is also advised by changing your socks frequently particularly when damp and moist. Air dry your shoes frequently to ensure no dampness or moistness.
You'll need to consult a dermatologist.
The first thing is confirming what is causing your athletes foot. That will determine the treatment.
Oral.
Lamisil pill for 4 weeks is the best option. A lot of prescription creams do work very well also.
Athlete's foot is caused by fungus that loves cold and wet environments. Keep your feet clean, dry. Constantly change socks, avoid walking in showers (especially pubic) without sandals on. Oral medications are the best way to try foot fungus but the topical sprays for shoes help too.
Hi, there are different types of treatment, such as prescription creams, and also prescription for oral medications.
The strongest over the counter treatment is Tinactin spray
The strongest treatment for athlete's foot is probably a prescription medication that you take by mouth. Each person's foot condition is different, so it will be in your best interest to be evaluated by a foot and ankle specialist.
Thank you.
Currently Tolcylen anti-fungal ointment, cream, spray have the strongest combination of ingredients to treat fungal skin and nail infections.
There are several over-the-counter medications for purchase at the pharmacy which may resolve athletes foot. These would be classified as 'anti-fungal' medications. If it does not resolve after applying such medications after a week or two, you can get a stronger prescription from a Podiatrist or Dermatologist.
Oral terbinafine, in my opinion.
Athlete's foot is a condition that will come and go. The biggest factor is usually moisture on the feet. I recommend you make a better effort to keep your feet dry. If you are not having success, I recommend you schedule an appointment with a podiatrist (foot and ankle surgeon) for further treatment.
