What relieves constipation?

I am a 29 year old male. I have had constipation for almost a week. What relieves constipation?

Miralex, colace, looking at medications as a cause.
More fiber, more fruits, over-the counter laxatives like dulcolax and Miralax.
(p.s. drinking more water does not treat constipation. This is perhaps the biggest myth in all of medicine.)

There are many things that can cause constipation, limiting those things, high sugar or carbohydrate diet can improve constipation. High fiber foods and fruits can also heal this problem. Lots of water is key!
Increase fiber. Try dulcolax.
Constipation can be many different things, so it's best checked by a doctor, but simple answers are increasing water and fiber.

Try a mild laxative and drink plenty of water. See a physician if that doesn’t help.
