What should you not drink with a sore throat?

I am a 32 year old female with a painful sore throat. What should you not drink with a sore throat?

I recommend avoiding anything which is dehydrating such as alcoholic drinks and ones with caffeine. Try to avoid acidic drinks such as citrus fruits as well as carbonated beverages.
I can't think of anything you shouldn't drink - except, of course, alcohol to excess! Fluids are good for any upper respiratory condition particularly warm liquids. If a sore throat is severe or persists for more than a few days or is accompanied by fever, you should see a doctor.
