I am a 28 year old female and I am pregnant. I want to know what tests are done in the third trimester?

Fora a routine uncomplicated patient: Typical blood testing would include routine blood counts (CBC), antibody screening, glucose test. At 36 weeks a genital culture for group B streptococcus. Some patients may get a 3 rd trimester Fetal growth ultrasound.

The only blood tests are a diabetes test and, sometimes, a CBC. Around 36 weeks, a vaginal culture is done checking for a bacteria known as Group B beta strep (GBBS).
