Pediatrician Questions Dry fruits

Are dryfruits okay for 3 year olds or is it too much fat for their bodies to digest?

My daughter is 3 years old and loves to snack on dry fruits. Is it okay, considering her age, or will it cause too much pressure on her liver?

Dry fruits are mainly carbohydrates but better than simple sugars and should be a good snack. There should be no liver concerns. She should not be allowed to "graze" on these all day long. She needs dairy and protein in her diet
Dry fruits are perfectly okay for kids. Fresh fruits are preferred for more water content. Dry fruits like dates have high iron content and are used to supplement for iron deficiency in kids and adults.
Dry fruits have no fat, have small amount of carbohydrates (sugars) usually fructose. They are not fattening and help with digestion and prevent constipation.
