My 9 year old child has bronchitis. When should I take my child to the ER for bronchitis?

When he cannot breathe freely or he is breathing fast with nasal flaring.
If there is no respiratory distress, child is feeding well, and sleeping normal and there is no high fever you can observe child at home keep well hydrated rest and watch for any breathing difficulty then there is concern and need to take to emergency room.
If he is having trouble breathing eating or walking or any color change with his cough.
