“Why does my white discharge become heavy toward my period?”
My white discharge is very heavy right before my period. Is this a normal thing, or should I be concerned?

It is part of physiologic premenstrual changes.
May be a normal physiologic discharge from increased secretions, but also could be related to an increased overgrowth of yeast from lowered resistance pre-menstrually. Make an appointment with your Gyn and have the discharge tested to see if it a normal event or a problem that may need to be addressed.

White discharge before menses is usually thicker because of hormone progesterone which is normal and it is usually more at mid cycle due to hormone estrogen both are normal
