Dentist Questions Sensitive teeth

Why are my teeth so sensitive?

My teeth are suddenly very sensitive and I made a dentist appointment for the end of the week. Could this be from a cavity? If not, what else can cause teeth sensitivity?

Tooth sensitivity can have several causes. Keep your dental appointment. Have your dentist review flossing and brushing. Avoid ice chewing and biting into hard objects. You might try avoiding hot spicy foods, too. Sensitive teeth has been named a major problem. Perhaps flossing, brushing, and you may want to try water IRRIGATORS. The spices in hot foods are ground down to tiny particles, and some of these particles can get lodged in between your teeth and gum tissue. Flushing out the area can have a soothing effect. You need to have your teeth and gum tissue checked.
