OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions Pregnancy

Why can't I get pregnant?

I'm 28, and I'm unable to get pregnant. My husband and I have been trying for over a year and I still haven't gotten pregnant. What doctor should I see? What tests must be done?

Consult with an Infertility specialist.
This is a complicated question as there are many different causes of infertility. The best place to start is with your Ob/Gyn. They will help you find the reason for infertility and plan toward a solution.
I hope this helps!
You should see a gynecologist who can do the basic work-up: evaluate your periods and ovulation, assess risk factors for tubal disease, and possibly order a semen analysis for your husband.
Infertility is complicated. 40% is female, 40% is male, and 20% may involve both of you. You will need to see a GYN or GYN Endocrinologist who is well versed in infertility. Your partner will need testing as well.
