Hematologist-Oncologist Questions Blood Clots

Why do I have blood clot in my left leg?

Every time I come back from a walk or run, I notice a blood clot in my left leg. The clot stays for sometime and then subsides on its own. What could be the cause of the same?

multiple causes: from trauma, cancer, imbalance between cloning factor and anti-clotting factors. Clot that you see might be petechia or superficial phlebitis. usually deep clot is not visible to eyes, you may experience heavy and edematous leg rather than clot in skin. see your PCP
I think its more superficial varicose veins rather than clots which resolve by itself. Clots don't resolve fast and spontaneously.
