There could be a problem with the implants, see your dentist
It sound like the bite is not correct or that you have a problem with the implant or crown. Contact your provider immediately. Not enough information is given in your question to provide you with a more concise answer.
The bite may be too high. Please contact your dentist for an adjustment.
The first cause may be the hyperocclusion of the implant crown.
You may need a bite adjustment or your implant may be loose or infected.
Hi, I would advise you to return to your dentist ASAP for evaluation of this complaint. It may be a simple bite adjustment is needed or something else that could be easy or complicated to fix. It is very important not to remain in pain, though.
There is usually a transition period that you accomodate to. The implants and bone have to adjust to the chewing load. THey do and this goes away
Sometimes the bite may be a little off and cause pain when hitting or eating. An adjustment will alleviate this problem.
Your implants may be loose or the crowns or denture, whichever is attached to the implants, is "too high"
If your teeth hurt when you bite down with dental implants, it could be due to many reasons, a clinical exam and xrays are absolutely necessary. It can be that your bite is not balanced, it could be inflammation, if the implant was cemented, it can be excess cement, or implantitis, among many other reasons.
1) Impingement on the tissue
2) Hipper occlusion
3) implant failure
Anyone of the above
