I would get consult ASAP with a doctor.
Because you are lying flat.
Very often, when you are lying down, the blood pools more in the head area and could cause a toothache to increase.
It's likely you tooth nerve is dying or already dead. You need to get into a dentist ASAP. Left untreated, this can turn into a serious infection (even life-threatening).
Hello,

It could be worse because the blood pressure in your head increases when you lay back. So, sitting in a recliner to sleep or elevating your head could help.
In some cases, it may be related to an increased blood pressure into the tooth nerve form laying down. A nerve with inflammation or infection can react this way. Sometimes it may be from grinding your teeth at night and lower left jaw pain may be from heart issues. See your dentist.
