There are multiple causes for your symptoms. Please get an evaluation by your specialist.
Hope you feel better.
It would help to know what you mean by "gas". For some, it means bloating or distension of the abdomen after eating. For others, it means flatulence. And some people have both of the above. In most cases, bloating and/or flatulence is caused by malabsorption of carbohydrates. Lowering the carbs in the diet will tend to help this. The Low FODMAP diet is a good example of a diet that can help reduce gas symptoms.
This is very common among young people today. Basically, what is happening is you are not producing the enzymes necessary to digest food properly. This could be happening for many reasons, but it's very simple to fix. Taking a digestive enzyme supplement with every meal will help to eliminate the gas.
There are many potential causes. Some to be considered include delayed gastric emptying nd small bowl bacterial overgrowth as well as pancreatic insufficiency. Of course this could be due to diet lone, which ia why a careful diet history Is required by a qualified meal practitioner.
