My 11 year old son has had diarrhea for 2 days. Could this be related to the virus?

Yes if it’s for only 2 days, it is likely a virus from something he ate. Keeping him well hydrated is the most important. Feel better!

Nowadays, everything could be related to SARS Covid 2. Kids can present differently from adults, which could mean vomiting and or diarrhea. It can also be regular viral gastroenteritis or a result of diet. Things to watch out for though, fever, blood in the stool, signs of dehydration, and severe abdominal pain.
