3. Eat healthy food
Being diagnosed with cancer can mess with both your mind and your body. If there is one thing that you can control, it is a healthy lifestyle. Find foods that you can eat to help you feel better and stay stronger. Make fruits and vegetables a part of your every meal. Keep red meat to a minimum and instead, consider eating fish or chicken. Most important, keep hard candy and water with you at all times, to mask the bitter metallic taste in your mouth after chemo and avoid dehydration.
