Most of the time breast cancer diagnoses bring with them stress, fear, and anger. You rarely here anything positive from those who are undergoing treatment, but one couple managed to make the best of their situation, even though one of them had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Tracie Benjamin was diagnosed with stage 2A breast cancer less than a year before she was interviewed. She had just walked in a local charity event called Race for a Cure. She was being interviewed on Portland's local news when her boyfriend jumped up on stage and proposed to her. She says that she hopes this heartwarming example of kindness shows women that they are still loved no matter what they are diagnosed with. To watch the video in question, go here.
