Grocery shopping can be a healthier activity too. Avoid buying processed or canned foods. Skip the canned beans, buy the dry version, and cook them yourself at home. Stanford research has confirmed that there is a link between canned food and Bisphenol A, otherwise known as BPA. BPA is a chemical that can interact with hormones and contribute to the development of cancer. Try to avoid plastic bottles too, as it's been found that product inside plastic bottles has BPA exposure as well.
