Reversing in earlier stages is easier than in later stages

There are lots of treatments available for lymphedema, but doctors are cautious to state that patients are “cured” after their symptoms disappear. For early stage lymphedema that is caught early before soft tissue damage occurs, it is easy to guess that they probably won't reoccur. Reversing the early stages of lymphedema is easier than reversing the later stages, due to tissue damage. Once the soft tissue is damaged, it's more likely that lymphedema will come back.
