New Research: Using Mathematics to Treat Ovarian Cancer

The future of this study

The future of this study

Alber and Kim are relocating to the City of Hope in Duarte, California, a research and cancer treatment center, to do further human studies and to work toward their hopeful development of a related cancer treatment drug.

As an aside, City of Hope will be one of the national cancer care centers designated by the National Cancer Institute. The medical community and ovarian cancer patients eagerly await the outcomes of the Alber-Stack study.

In addition, Alber and Kim are developing a soon-to-be-opened Center for Quantitative Modeling in Biology. Many such centers, to include Rutgers and the University of Chicago, offer masters and doctorate degrees in the theory and practice of Mathematical Modeling.
