In ovarian cancer, the role of this second surgery is not well-defined. Recently, Dr. Jalid Sehouli, an accomplished physician-scientist and surgeon from Berlin, decided to investigate this further. He led a team of researchers in a phase III clinical study to evaluate outcomes of patients receiving two different recipes for managing their tumors.
