STDs cause ovarian cancer
Sexually transmitted diseases are a very serious condition, and many claim they can cause ovarian cancer. This is incorrect. STDs can cause infections in the fallopian tubes and ovaries, which may seem similar to ovarian cancer. Thankfully these infections are not deadly, although they can cause infertility if left untreated for too long. We should mention that while STDs cannot cause ovarian cancer, they can cause cervical, vaginal, and vulvar cancers and pre-cancers. It is important to always practice safe sex and choose sexual partners wisely, as any of these conditions are very terrible as well.
