The Common Ovarian Cancer Side Effect Few People Talk About

Ovarian Cancer :The power of support

The power of support

There are communities of cancer survivors out there, including ovarian cancer. You may be able to find a support group in your city of women who are going through the same thing. Also, consider finding these women online.

Thanks to the anonymity of the internet, people online are more likely to talk about their sexual experiences and pains with other people than ever before. It may be helpful to find such a community or forum and engage with it.

Other women have walked this path before. You may be able to find their stories, and learn how they have healed and the trials along the way. Ask and they may have insight to give. If you have questions you do not want to go to your doctor for, they may be able to answer. Just remember to be cautious about giving out too much personal information on the internet.

It may also be beneficial to talk to a therapist who specializes in sexual dysfunction. If they have experience working with women who have survived ovarian cancer, all the better. If not, they may still be able to help.
