The Most Common Breast Cancer Myths Busted

Deodorant can cause breast cancer

Some women are concerned about deodorant causing breast cancer because of the aluminum-based ingredients used to make it. This fear stemmed from the fact that aluminum-based compounds have shown some estrogen-like effects that could potentially fuel breast cancer. However, there are no studies that have found any link between deodorant and breast cancer.

On the same note, parabens have been a hot topic lately, and it's been suspected to cause breast cancer. Again, there is still no scientific evidence backing this claim, and besides, most of the products today are already paraben-free.
