Not breastfeeding your child can cause breast cancer

It’s true that if you breastfeed your baby, you reduce your breast cancer risk. However, there isn’t any evidence to prove that NOT breastfeeding increases this risk. Breastfeeding is great for both you and your baby, and it provides tons of nutrients and immunity to a newborn baby. However, there are many reasons for why a woman might choose not to breastfeed. If you don’t, it’s okay! There is absolutely no evidence to show that this will increase your risk for breast cancer.
