The relationship between patient and doctor should be completely transparent

Following genetic testing and a possible ovarian cancer diagnosis, it is important that patients understand what questions they should be asking in regards to their health and well-being. During the diagnosis/staging phase, women should ask whether they should undergo chemotherapy or surgery first, as well as how they should make the decision, how the surgery will be performed, and what they can expect post-surgery.
