Relative risk is useful when making comparisons, but it does not tell us anything about absolute risk of the group.

Relative risk "compares the absolute risk of disease among people with a particular risk factor to the risk among people without that risk factor."

For example, compared to women who do not take birth control, women who do have a higher relative risk.
