Belgium may have the highest rate of breast cancer, but they also have the highest proportion of survivors
In 2012, Belgium had the highest number of women still alive five years after a breast cancer diagnosis.
However, the highest proportion of breast cancer survivors still alive five years after their diagnosis was in Northern America and Europe. The lowest was in Africa and Asia.
So, despite there being more breast cancer survivors in Belgium, the best place to live considering breast cancer may be elsewhere.
