Women Might Not Be Aware of This Ovarian Cancer Symptom

A lack of funding and research

The research and funding challenges for ovarian cancer are frustrating. These roadblocks are endangering the lives of women, as ovarian cancer affects so many people globally. In the United Kingdom, it's estimated that 11 women will die of this disease every day. According to the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, ovarian cancer is considered the fifth leading cause of cancer death among American women. It's a shame that we can't put more money and time into finding a better way to diagnose these women and cure them. Part of the reason for this is the lack of awareness of not only the disease warning signs but also the disease itself.
