Repurposing FDA Approved Drugs to Use for Ovarian Cancer

In one study, DrugPredict was so powerful it produced a list of almost 7 thousand chemicals that had potential to treat ovarian cancer. That would take a human practically a lifetime to generate by hand! Turns out that 15 drugs on the list were actually already approved for the treatment of cancer, which actually helps support DrugPredict's ability to find medications that can be used for this purpose. Because NSAIDs ranked higher than others in this generated list, researchers decided to test their effects on cancer cells in the lab.
