Breast cancer is a battle that isn't easy for any woman. For Giuliana Rancic, she knows this firsthand. The Live From the Red Carpet host is a breast cancer survivor who now dedicates herself to helping other women who are battling cancer too. She started an organization called Fab-U-Wish, which grants wishes to women who have breast cancer.

She shared with E! News a little bit about the work she's done during The Pink Agenda's 10th Annual Gala. To her, the organization is about helping women as they go through their fight against cancer. She's granting wishes to help women feel like themselves again while going through this tough time. At the same time, she's getting young women involved with giving back, raising money for breast cancer research. She partnered up with The Pink Agenda several years ago, an organization that is all about raising money to promote breast cancer research.

Fab-U-Wish grants wishes to women who are suffering from breast cancer

Rancic started Fab-U-Wish because she realized her success against breast cancer didn't come singlehandedly. She had the unwavering support of her husband and the love and encouragement of fans from all over the globe. All of this love and support helped her a lot when she found out she had early-stage breast cancer.

What's more, is that Rancic realized how good she felt about herself when she got dolled up for work. Getting her hair and makeup done and putting on a glamorous gown helped her as a sort of therapy during that difficult time. She realized that getting the full Hollywood treatment can help other women feel good about themselves too. When Rancic was getting all pampered, she really felt more like a princess than a patient. All this helped her keep a positive outlook on the battle ahead.

Feeling good about yourself can help you stay confident and positive

Rancic was able to indulge in all things that made her feel good about herself. Because of that, she was able to hold on to her self-confidence and optimism, even when she was going through the toughest times during her diagnosis. Giuliana was inspired by her experience, and that's how Fab-U-Wish was born.

The Pink Agenda partnered up to help make Fab-U-Wish a reality

Giuliana partnered with The Pink Agenda to bring glamorous wishes to women who were suffering from breast cancer. She wanted to share her experience of getting treated well.

Rancic is a survivor herself, and she knows just how tough things can be when you're going through breast cancer treatment. She's immensely proud of how her organization has made women feel good about themselves. Having to fight the battle herself just five years ago, she knows firsthand how difficult cancer can be for your mind and your body. In October of 2011, Giuliana found out that she had breast cancer, and that December has to go through a double mastectomy.

Fab-U-Wish has granted amazing wishes for women everywhere. One woman even got to meet Jennifer Lopez herself!

It's been a great partnership so far. They've been granting many incredible wishes for women suffering from breast cancer all over the country. She shares one particular story, where a young woman got to meet Jennifer Lopez in person. She was lucky enough to go backstage during her concert in Vegas, and even got to dance around on stage a little bit at the end of the show. Giuliana awoke in the middle of the night to a text message of the two embracing each other like old friends. It brought warmth to her heart to hear that the woman had been so grateful for this wish, saying that it made her feel like herself again.

Giuliana simply wants women to feel like princesses

Fab-U-Wish is supposed to do exactly that. Giuliana shares that the goal of her organization is to help support women who are battling cancer and to help them feel good about themselves during this tough time. It's just one day where she wants to treat these women like princesses and help them feel beautiful and sexy again.

Giuliana is going on her sixth-year cancer free!

Giuliana has celebrated her five-year milestone this past December, and she feels so fortunate to be able to. Every few months, she has to go in to get checked and make sure everything is okay. She's got her fingers and toes crossed, but she has full faith in her amazing doctors. So far, everything's been going great, and she's been able to focus on her health and stay positive. Guiliana's main focus is to get right back to giving back to all the women who are going through what she went through five years ago.

Her cancer-free milestone isn't all that's being celebrates. Giuliana also joined her husband, Bill Rancic, as they opened up about their 10-year anniversary on the red carpet!

Giuliana is an inspiration for breast cancer fighters everywhere

Giuliana has done so much to help other women get through the difficult time of fighting breast cancer. She is lucky enough to have come out of her battle with a victory, and she feels that much of this success is owed to the love and support she got from her husband, friends, and family. She also felt that her job, which allowed her to get glammed up quite often, helped her feel beautiful despite her disease, and helped her stay positive during the worst times. She hopes that by sharing this unique therapy, she can help other women stay positive too!
