Many with Ovarian Cancer Try Maintenance Therapy to Buy Time

Most patients preferred oral therapy

When it came to the deliverance of maintenance therapy, 42.9% of the participants revealed that they preferred oral therapy, 32.1% said they had no preference, and 25% said they preferred intravenous administration. Moreover, of that group, 35% said they preferred a mix of oral therapy and intravenous administration every third week, less than 20% said they preferred oral therapy two times daily, 7% said they preferred an infusion on a weekly basis, and 3% stated that they preferred some other type of schedule.
