They shared common side effects

When the topic of side effects arose, the patients were quite aware about what side effects they had experienced and made clear their concerns about which were the least tolerable. 35-40% of the participants reported that the most common side effects they experienced were nausea, vomiting, hair loss, and polyneuropathy, 25% reported exhaustion and risk of infection, and 20% reported high blood pressure and edema. Moreover, less than 20% of the participants reported diarrhea, constipation, skin rash, stomach ache, anemia, and bleeding disturbances. The responses were similar among both younger and older patients with primary or recurrent cancer.
