The Roles Animals Can Play in Treating Ovarian Cancer

Dina’s “guardian angel”

Gracie’s visits have been especially appreciated by Dina who was diagnosed in 2016 with ovarian cancer. During Dina’s time of treatment and recovery, Gracie would sit on the couch beside Dina and just “chat away.” Dina believes Gracie was aware she was sick, and was acting as her “Guardian Angel.”

Now that Dina is in remission, Ken has released a book on their experiences, entitled Gracie’s Wild Adventures.

Amazon describes the book as “a story with inspiring strength and courage”, and one that will “will make you smile, laugh and even shed a tear.”

Photos of Gracie pepper the book.
