But think about what it really means - according to Merriam-Webster, "the practice of maintaining a nonjudgmental state of heightened or complete awareness of one's thoughts, emotions, or experiences on a moment-to-moment basis." So, it's more than just a catchy Instagram hashtag. To incorporate mindfulness into your routine, sit in silence, either alone or with your partner, and think about nothing but your breathing. When your thoughts stray, bring them back only to your breathing. This is meant to clear your head of all extraneous information, and bring your brain back to its most important thoughts.
