Health Journeys is a free online personal blog to share your health story with family, friends, and other like-minded readers who are experiencing a similar health situation. It’s written by you, for you, and about you.

Our easy to use platform allows you to chronicle your ongoing health condition and share your knowledge, experiences, coping skills, frustrations and life lessons with others in need of hope. Each Health Journey writer is assigned a personal editor that will proof your posts and add images. You write and we will do the rest!
There is a plethora of clinical information written online about different diseases. But what’s missing are the personal anecdotes and accounts of real people navigating through a health challenge. Health Journeys is a place for you to do just that - share your perspectives and advice with others who are going through the same things that you are.

The topic of your post is entirely up to you- but here are some examples that other successful writers have started with.

  • The symptoms, testing and events that led to your diagnosis
  • How your diagnosis affects other parts of your life ( family, work, social)
  • Holistic remedies that you have found to be successful
  • Your feedback on the latest research and medical advances
  • Your experience with different treatments
  • How you manage side effects
  • Journal your days- give readers a window into your personal life while managing an illness.
There is absolutely zero cost. We offer this service to build a sense of community and awareness of what is important to you.
Health Journeys is meant for everyone who is experiencing a health issue as a patient or as a caretaker. We have support communities dedicated to Breast Cancer, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, Cystic Fibrosis, Lymphoma, and many more.

Health Journeys allow you to chronicle any health issue, including mental illnesses like depression or anxiety. It gives you a place to track your journey to lose weight, quit smoking, get into shape, go gluten free... the list goes on.
Before each article is posted, our editorial team will review, proof, and format your post. After the post is live on our website, it is available to be shared to your social media contacts and also is also shown to our readers who are dealing with the same health concerns.
Sharing your story can help others who live with the same or a similar condition. There is something about connecting with people who have the same condition as you – they understand things that others may not, and by helping others, you in turn can feel supported.

Sharing your Health Journey brings new awareness to your condition. You’ll gain readers, followers, and individual contributors who like to engage with you and your story. You can tackle misconceptions and myths. You can say what’s on your mind. You can educate, motivate, and inspire by just being yourself.
Getting started is easy and only takes a couple of minutes. Once you sign up, you will be prompted to answer a few short questions to build your writer’s profile. You can edit or change your profile info at any time, so there’s no pressure. To start writing, just simply click Create a New Article and start writing your first post.
One of the best ways to build an audience of readers is by connecting your Health Journey to social media. The best place to start raising awareness is within your own circle of family and friends.
