A 2004-graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine, Dr. Cummings went on to complete his general surgery residency at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City (2004 – 2009). Moreover, he joined Georgetown University to complete a fellowship in Abdominal Organ Transplant and Hepatobiliary Surgery (2009 – 2011).

The doctor attained board certification in general surgery through the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.
