There, he is affiliated with a number of hospitals and medical centers, including Mercy Hospital, Aventura Hospital & Medical Center, and Broward Health Medical Center.

In regards to his educational background, Dr. Pachon earned his medical degree from the Fundación Universitaria San Martin in Colombia. After relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Raritan Bay Medical Center, his fellowship in cardiovascular biology and physiology at Rutgers University, and his fellowship in cardiology at Broward Health. 

Currently, he is completing his fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

Clinical cardiac electrophysiology (also referred to as cardiac electrophysiology, arrhythmia services, or electrophysiology), is a branch of the medical specialty of cardiology and is concerned with the study and treatment of rhythm disorders of the heart. An electrophysiologist is a type of cardiologist. They focus on the heart’s timing, or electrical system, and on diagnosing and treating irregular heartbeats or arrhythmias. They are also qualified to perform special tests of the heart’s electrical system, such as an electrophysiology study or an ablation.
