A firm believer that every patient deserves a healthy smile they can be proud of, Dr. Brammeier is committed to providing excellent dentistry in a comfortable environment at Brammeier Family Dental in Lisle, Illinois. She is excited to see out Dr. Derrico’s legacy, the original founder of the dental practice, through superior dentistry and exceptional care.

Growing up in rural Louisiana and Texas, Dr. Brammeier values a small-town feel and strives to build long-lasting relationships with her patients. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a degree in Biochemistry in 2002. Thereafter, she went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in 2007. Upon graduation, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona. She practiced in a variety of dental settings including urban clinics, group, and private practices, before owning her own practice in central Phoenix.

Committed to serving her community by reaching those in need, Dr. Brammeier provides excellent dental care in a compassionate way. While in Phoenix, she served as a Lead Member of the Organization Committee for the Arizona Mission of Mercy, an organization that provides free dental care through volunteers. After moving to Illinois in 2015 to be near her husband’s family, she traveled with her local church group to Haiti for an unforgettable mission trip. She triaged patients in several villages, performed dental extractions, educated the locals on oral hygiene, and distributed much needed dental and medical supplies.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

Understanding the value of organized dentistry, Dr. Brammeier served on the Board of Directors for the Central Arizona Dental Society and the Council for Membership and New Dentist Committee for the Arizona Dental Society. Currently, she is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society.

On a more personal note, Dr. Brammeier and her husband, Michael, live in Naperville with Shepherd-mix, Dixie. She loves spending time with her family, especially with her step-daughter Eliana. She also enjoys cooking, doing yoga, and traveling to new places.
