After owning a practice in Davao, Philippines for ten years, she moved to the United States where she attended New York University and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She was Chief Resident at St. Vincent Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens for two years before opening her private practice in 2002.
Continuously advancing her efforts, Dr. Borbon is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American General Dentistry Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the New London County Dental Society.
