Dr. Yadav is a well-versed internist with special interests in cardiac event prevention, weight loss, smoking cessation, holistic medicine, and corporate wellness plans. He is the Owner of Prestige Medical Group, operating out of the offices in Jasper and Canton (Sixes), Georgia.

Locally, he is affiliated with Piedmont Mountainside Hospital and Northside Hospital Cherokee.

Born in India in a military household, Dr. Yadav finished his education until high school from a private military school. After his family migrated to New York in 1990, he completed his higher education in the tri-state area. He graduated cum laude from SUNY Stony Brook University. From there, he went on to finish medical school at the Ross University School of Medicine.

Thereafter, he did his residency in internal medicine at Stamford Hospital, where he met his wife and partner, Dr. Monika Yadav. After their medical training in Connecticut, they moved to the south to start their own practice.

They always had a certain vision of their own private practice that would be built around patients’ needs, yet balancing latest evidence based medical protocols. They started with a single location, a primary care office in 2004, and then added their Medspa in 2006, and later opened their Cherokee County office in 2010.

With an unwavering commitment to his speciality, Dr. Yadav is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Furthermore, he is board-certified in obesity medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine, and in holistic medicine by the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.

Active community members of both Pickens and Cherokee Counties, Dr. Yadav and his wife volunteer to provide lots of medical services like new hire examinations for local police and firefighters. They fund various local college scholarships and charities that support local groups like Boys and Girls Club, Service League and Domestic Abuse victims.

While work keeps Dr. Yadav busy, it allows him plenty of time to spend with his two kids – Milan and Sofia. He tries to stay healthy with physical fitness as he does practice what he preaches – that mainly includes mountain biking, playing tennis, and track running.
